CERTIFICATES & SEALS
The compliance follows strict requirements by UTZ, at certified farms and businesses, the product is closely monitored by independent third parties. These requirements include Good Agricultural Practices and farming management, safe and healthy working conditions, abolition of child labor and protection of the environment.
The Permanent Program for Coffee Purity Control, pioneered certification of ABIC, launched in 1989, and which certifies the purity of roast and ground coffee it's well known and consistent. More than 2000 samples collected and analyzed per year. The goal at each stage it's the continuous monitoring of brands, in order to inhibit the action of companies that misrepresent their products.
The Rainforest Alliance Certified seal assures consumers that the product they are purchasing has been grown and harvested using environmentally and socially responsible practices. Farms and forestlands that meet the rigorous, third-party standards of the Sustainable Agriculture Network or the Forest Stewardship Council, are awarded the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal.
